3D‐Printed Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) Sensors Based on Self Compliant Springs
This work explores 3D‐printed GMR sensors utilizing self‐compliant spring structures and conductive PLA composites. By optimizing arm width, we achieved high piezoresistive (0.34%/mm) and magnetoresistive (0.77%/mT) sensitivities. Demonstrated through Bluetooth‐integrated pressure and magnetic position sensing, these full printed low‐cost, customizable

Reactive Power Compensation Using FACTS Device
In this paper Matlab-simulink model of single phase variable load with Fixed Capacitor-Thyristor controlled reactor (FC-TCR) for compensation of reactive power is presented. The specific feature of proposed model is determining load reactive power instantaneously and by involving automatic control method compensate load reactive power.

Device Attacker Models: Fact and Fiction [PDF]
According to standard fiction, a user is able to securely keep long term keys on his device. However, in fact his device may become infected with malware, and an adversary may obtain a copy of his key. We propose an attacker model in which devices are "periodically trustworthy" -- they may become infected by malware, and then later become trustworthy ...

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.
