Journal of Information Processing and Management, 1998 科学技術振興事業団は，平成9年8月よりファクトデータベースシステム“ChemSource”のインターネット提供を開始した。このシステムは“JOIS-F”システムより継承した「熱物性データベース」，「結晶構造データベース」，「質量スペクトルデータベース」を搭載しており，インターネットならではのGUI検索や，Javaによる高度なグラフィック表示を実現しているが，現在無料での提供が行われており，特別な登録手続き無しに利用できる。本稿はとくにその利用法を中心に，システムを紹介するものである。

Advanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.The hydration behavior of C3S in seawater‐relevant solutions is studied based on experiments, boundary nucleation and growth (BNG) modeling, and machine learning. The main ions included in seawater modify hydration mechanisms, with MgCl2 showing the strongest acceleration effect at the same concentration.

Journal of Information Processing and Management, 1999 物質・材料分野におけるファクトデータベースは，ハンドブック等の古い歴史があるにもかかわらず，その発展や普及があまり期待されていなかった。これはファクトデータベースの従来の提供方法が利用者のニーズに合致していなかったからである。最近のネットワークの普及やコンピュータ技術の進歩がファクトデータの斬新な提供方法を可能にし，コンビナトリアルケミストリや計算科学技術の台頭が新たなニーズを呼び起こしている。本稿では，ネットワーク時代を迎えて可能になったファクトデータベースの提供技術について解説し，JSTが開発している高機能基盤物質データベースを事例として紹介する。
