ABSOLUTE GNSS RECEIVER ANTENNA CALIBRATION AT THE FACULTY OF GEODESY - UNIVERSITY OF ZAGREB
Journal of Faculty of Civil EngineeringGlobal Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) receivers are essential sensors for modern global positioning, navigation, and timing applications. Geodetic GNSS positioning applications are based on carrier-phase measurements, where the understanding of the GNSS signal’s electrical reception characteristics, i.e., the receiver antenna phase center ...

Real-Time Solar Wind Prediction Based on SDO/AIA Coronal Hole Data
, 2015We present an empirical model based on the visible area covered by coronal holes close to the central meridian with the aim to predict the solar wind speed at 1 AU with a lead time of up to four days in advance with a time resolution of one hour.

Modern trends in education on the Faculty of Geodesy
2001Faculty of Geodesy has started to use information technologies very early. The first web pages of the Faculty were installed in 1996 on the public computer of the University Computer Center. In the meantime, the Faculty got its own web server (geodet.geof.hr) and that has significantly increased the usage of network services.
