Automatic recovery from runtime failures
We present a technique to make applications resilient to failures. This technique is intended to maintain a faulty application functional in the field while the developers work on permanent and radical fixes. We target field failures in applications built on reusable components.

A Single-Link Failure Recovery Approach Based on Resource Sharing and Performance Prediction in SDN
Software-defined networking (SDN) is a great innovation, which makes the network programmable so that it is easier to achieve failures recovery. Through pre-programmed recovery strategies and pre-deployed backup resource, flows can be redirected to ...

An illustrative recovery approach for stateful interaction failures of orchestrated processes [PDF]
During a stateful interaction, a partner service may become unavailable because of a server crash or a temporary network failure. Once the failed service becomes available again, the interaction partners do not have any knowledge about each other’s state,

Fault Tolerant Distributed Stream Processing based on Backtracking [PDF]
Since distributed stream analytics is treated as a kind of cloud service, there exists a pressing need for its reliability and fault-tolerance, to guarantee the streaming data tuples to be processed in the order of their generation in every dataflow path,

ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...
