Novel Additive for Addressing Interfacial Instability in PVDF‐HFP/Pyr14FSI Systems for Lithium Metal Batteries at Room Temperature

open access: yesBattery Energy, Volume 5, Issue 4, July 2026.
Self‐standing hybrid solid polymer electrolytes are fabricated through a solvent‐free, energy‐efficient process using a PVDF‐HFP and ionic liquid system with divinyl sulfone as an additive. This design ensures high ionic conductivity and stable lithium cycling in solid‐state lithium metal batteries with high‐voltage cathodes.

Urban Parks Act as Refuges for Avian Biodiversity in Chaoyang District, Beijing (China)

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 7, July 2026.
We assessed bird species richness, seasonal dynamics, and habitat associations across four urban parks in Beijing's Chaoyang District (China) using standardised point count surveys. A total of 68 bird species were recorded, with the highest diversity occurring in parks with extensive wetlands and marked seasonal variation during migration periods.
