Five controversial species of Fallopia sect. Fallopia sensu Holub were examined for leaf flavonoid constituents. Twenty-one flavonoid compounds were isolated and identified; they were glycosylated derivatives of the flavonols kaempferol, quercetin, and myricetin, and of the flavones apigenin and luteolin.
