Digital Image Falsification Detection Based on Dichromatic Model

Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies, 2021
Nowadays, digital images may be simply changed by victimization superior computers, subtle photo-editing, tricks package, etc. These changes will impact picture validity, from law, politics, the media, and industry. Detecting falsification of digital images is one of the most critical analytical practices in the present time. Altering the digital image

Blind forensics tool of falsification for RAW images

2017 IEEE International Symposium on Signal Processing and Information Technology (ISSPIT), 2017
This paper presents a novel method for blind forgery detection of natural image in RAW format. The approach is based on a statistical noise model of natural RAW images. This model is characterized by two parameters which are used as a fingerprint to falsification identification.

Detection of falsification using infrared imaging: time domain moving average

2014 IEEE International Conference on Imaging Systems and Techniques (IST) Proceedings, 2014
In this paper continuation of previous research done on lie detection using infrared imaging has been presented. Previously it was shown that lie detection using infrared imaging is possible and is actually very accurate (with accuracy of up to 84%).

Falsification Charge Highlights Image-Manipulation Standards

Science, 2008
The University of Minnesota announced last week that an academic misconduct committee had concluded that a 2001 journal article contains "falsified" data images, but the paper9s lead author, a graduate student in prominent stem cell researcher Catherine Verfaillie9s lab at the time, rejects that claim and says she followed the standards of the time for
