The Cambrian System in Northwestern Argentina: stratigraphical and palaeontological framework
Cambrian sequences are widespread in the early Paleozoic of the Central Andean Basin. Siliciclastic sediments dominate these sequences although several minor occurrences of carbonates and volcanic rocks have been observed.
