Tabulate Corals after the Frasnian/Famennian Crisis: A Unique Fauna from the Holy Cross Mountains, Poland. [PDF]
Famennian tabulate corals were very rare worldwide, and their biodiversity was relatively low. Here we report a unique tabulate fauna from the mid- and late Famennian of the western part of the Holy Cross Mountains (Kowala and Ostrówka), Poland.

Abstract As one of the five major extinction events in Earth history, the Frasnian-Famennian boundary (FFB) crisis caused dramatic reductions in marine and terrestrial diversity. The effects of this event on terrestrial ecosystems are not well understood due to the limited preservation of terrestrial sedimentary rocks and the relative scarcity of ...

Influence of the Frasnian-Famennian event on radiolarian faunas
The impact of the Frasnian-Famennian biotic mass extinction event (F-F event) on radiolarian faunas is examined in 13 sections, which belong to two types of cherty basin in South China. No appreciable decrease in radiolarian biodiversity is observed across the F-F boundary. Indeed, radiolarian faunas flourished during the Famennian.

A new phyllocarid crustacean from the Famennian of Belgium
A single carapace of an echinocaridid phyllocarid found in the uppermost part of the Evieux Formation at Arbre near Namur of late (latest ?) Famennian age lacks both the posterocentral and posterodorsal ridges, both characters considered to be derived ones. This makes it a member of the E. punctata group.

Extreme abundance of ammonoids in mass accumulations from the Late Devonian of the Moroccan Anti-Atlas [PDF]
The eastern Anti-Atlas is renowned for its highly fossiliferous outcrops of Devonian rocks. Ammonoids occur in rock-forming numbers at many localities in the Tafilalt and Maïder.

Carbon isotope values in conodont elements from the latest Devonian–Early Carboniferous carbonate platform facies (Timan-Pechora Basin) [PDF]
The δ13Corg values and their variations in conodont elements of the latest Famennian–Tournaisian species Polygnathus parapetus Druce are considered. The conodonts studied come from the latest Famennian–Tournaisian interval of the Kamenka River section ...

Devonian (Emsian-Famennian) Palynomorphs [PDF]
Abstract. EMSIANMiospore assemblages which can be positively assigned to the Early Devonian have, to date, only been recorded from core material from Well A1-33. Assemblages of Emsian age were recorded from the interval 8079 to 8091 ft. whilst assemblages from 8055 to 8076 ft.

Bryozoan Diversity Dynamics at the Devonian–Carboniferous Transition: Evidence from Transcaucasia
The Devonian–Carboniferous transition was marked by a series of perturbations in the geological and biological evolution. The palaeontological data from Transcaucasia allowed the bryozoan diversity dynamics on the northern Gondwanan margin (southern ...

Late Devonian (Famennian) Chondrichthyes from Mexico [PDF]
The Paleozoic vertebrate fossil record from Mexico is very scarce and strongly biased by rock exposure, composed mainly of upper Paleozoic (Carboniferous and Permian) outcrops (e.g., Sánchez-Zavala et al., 1999; Poole et al., 2005; González- Rodríguez et al., 2013).
