Algorithms for curves of low genus: complex multiplication and Diedonné theory
In this thesis we study classification problems in algebraic geometry. In the context of algebraic geometry these classification problems are called moduli problems.

Motivic distribution of rational curves and twisted products of toric varieties
This work concerns asymptotical stabilisation phenomena occurring in the moduli space of sections of certain algebraic families over a smooth projective curve, whenever the generic fibre of the family is a smooth projective Fano variety, or not far from ...

On the Hodge conjecture for products of certain surfaces [PDF]
In this thesis we prove the Hodge conjecture for products of smooth projective surfaces S(_1) x S(_2), where S(_2) = A is an Abelian surface and S (_1) is such that P(_g)(S(_1)) = 1, q = 2.

Motivic mirror symmetry and χ$\chi$‐independence for Higgs bundles in arbitrary characteristic
Abstract We prove that the (twisted orbifold) motives of the moduli spaces of SLn$\mathrm{SL}_n$ and PGLn$\mathrm{PGL}_n$‐Higgs bundles of coprime rank and degree on a smooth projective curve over an algebraically closed field in which the rank is invertible are isomorphic in Voevodsky's triangulated category of motives.

Algebraic Structures on Moduli Spaces of Mirror Geometries
This thesis is concerned with algebraic structures appearing on the moduli spaces of mirror geometries enhanced with differential forms. It was shown in \cite{Movasati:2012elliptic} that in the case of elliptic curves, the local structure of such moduli ...

Efficient Deconvolution in Populational Inverse Problems
ABSTRACT This work is focused on the inversion task of inferring the distribution over parameters of interest, leading to multiple sets of observations. The potential to solve such distributional inversion problems is driven by the increasing availability of data, but a major roadblock is blind deconvolution, arising when the observational noise ...

On the geometry of moduli spaces of coherent systems on algebraic curves.
Let C be an algebraic curve of genus g ≥ 2. A coherent system on C consists of a pair (E, V ), where E is an algebraic vector bundle over C of rank n and degree d and V is a subspace of dimension k of the space of sections of E.

An Explicit Construction of Kaleidocycles by Elliptic Theta Functions
ABSTRACT We study a configuration space consisting of ordered points on the two‐dimensional sphere satisfying a system of quadratic constraints. We construct explicit periodic orbits in the configuration space using elliptic theta functions. The constructed orbits simultaneously satisfy semi‐discrete analogues of the modified KdV and sine‐Gordon ...

The fundamental group of the complement of a generic fiber‐type curve
Abstract In this paper, we describe and characterize the fundamental group of the complement of generic fiber‐type curves, that is, unions of (the closure of) finitely many generic fibers of a component‐free pencil F=[f:g]:CP2⤍CP1$F=[f:g]:\mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^2\dashrightarrow \mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^1$.

On the K‐stability of blow‐ups of projective bundles
Abstract We investigate the K‐stability of certain blow‐ups of P1$\mathbb {P}^1$‐bundles over a Fano variety V$V$, where the P1$\mathbb {P}^1$‐bundle is the projective compactification of a line bundle L$L$ proportional to −KV$-K_V$ and the center of the blow‐up is the image along a positive section of a divisor B$B$ also proportional to L$L$. When V$V$
