Asbestos-related familial mesothelioma
European Journal of Cancer Prevention, 1993Familial mesotheliomas are reported in four pairs of patients. The group includes six men and two women, aged between 44 and 84 years. A blood relation (father-son) existed in two pairs only. All the present patients had histories of exposure to asbestos; in five cases exposure had occurred in the shipyards.

Nordic Journal of Psychiatry, 2002In Europe, 10-20% of all women and 3-10% of all men have experienced sexual abuse before the age of 18, according to surveys. Psychosocial problems are often seen as both short- and long-term consequences of such abuse. Family dysfunction may be seen as both a risk factor for abuse and a result of the disclosure of abuse.

2018In this chapter, we discuss how video games promote family connection and communication, similar to other digital media technologies such as Skype and Facebook. Although video games are not intentionally designed to connect people, they provide a context for shared experiences that facilitate a sense of closeness and togetherness.
