Structure and Supersaturation for Intersecting Families
The extremal problems regarding the maximum possible size of intersecting families of various combinatorial objects have been extensively studied. In this paper, we investigate supersaturation extensions, which in this context ask for the minimum number of disjoint pairs that must appear in families larger than the extremal threshold.

A NEW APPROACH TO THE FAMILY STRUCTURE [PDF]
In this letter, we introduce a new approach to formulate the family structure of the standard model. Trying to mimic the highly constrained representation structure of the standard model while extending the symmetry, we propose an SU (4) ⊗ SU (3) ⊗ SU (2) ⊗ U (1) symmetry with a SM-like chiral spectra basically “derived” from the gauge anomaly ...

The structure of sperner k-families
AbstractIf P is a partially ordered set, a k-family of P is a subset which contains no chains of length k + 1. This paper examines the structure of the set of k-families of P. An extension of Dilworth's theorem is obtained by relating the maximum size of a k-family to certain partitions of P into chains.

Distinctive features of adolescent hardiness in families of different composition [PDF]
This article analyzes the influence of family structure on the hardiness of adolescents aged 16-18 (average age 17.2). The aim was to investigate hardiness of subjects from full, single-parent, and large families. We used the Test of Hardiness Survey and
