Child Development, 1963Miller and Swanson (4) distinguish between the childrearing practices of parents who fall into entrepreneurial and bureaucratic occupational types. A number of criteria can be used to distinguish between entrepreneurs and bureaucrats. A major distinction is that of the differing amounts of risk taking of the two groups.
