Familial contribution to adolescent subjective well‐being
International Journal of Nursing Practice, 2005The purpose of this study was to obtain a more complete understanding of which familial factors contribute to adolescent satisfaction and ill‐being, the latter term originally developed by Alexander Grob. Semistructured interviews were conducted with 19 non‐clinical adolescents from the 7th and 9th grades.

Divorce, Family Conflict, and Adolescents' Well-Being
Journal of Health and Social Behavior, 1989The relative effects of family conflict and divorce on the well-being of adolescents were examined in a longitudinal study of a heterogeneous community sample. Higher levels of family conflict were associated with increases in adolescents' depressed mood, anxiety, and physical symptoms over time.
