Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Reciprocal degree distance of some graph operations [PDF]
The reciprocal degree distance (RDD), defined for a connected graph G as vertex-degreeweighted sum of the reciprocal distances, that is, RDD(G) = u,v∈PV(G) dG(u)+dG(v) dG(u,v) . The reciprocal degree distance is a weight version of the Harary index, just

The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Performance of spray nozzles to control fusarium head blight and mycotoxin in the barley crop
This study aimed to evaluate the performance of spray nozzles to control fusarium head blight (FHB) and mycotoxins in barley grains. The barley cultivar used in the test was ‘BRS Aliansa’, with a density of 300 plants m-2.

Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

Correlates of Brand Loyalty in the Service Sector: The Case of a “New” Team
Baseball fans attending a four-game home stand of a "newer" team were surveyed. The study focused on four fundamental objectives: 1) identification of the extent of brand loyalty exhibited by fans to the team of interest; 2) determination of the extent ...

Characters of ultrafilters and tightness of products of fans
A coreflective class of topological spaces is one which contains a non-void space and is closed under quotients and disjoint sums. In a previous paper [Topology Appl. 152, No. 3, 301--309 (2005; Zbl 1077.54006)], the author established that every submeasurable cardinal is the productivity number of some coreflective class and if a class \(\mathcal{C}\)

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.
