Temperature dependence of Fano resonances in CrPS4.

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2022
A Fano resonance, as often observed in scattering, absorption, or transmission experiments, arises from quantum interference between a discrete optical transition and a continuous background.

Fano resonances in bilayer phosphorene nanoring

open access: yesNanotechnology, 2018
Tunable transport properties and Fano resonances are predicted in a circular bilayer phosphorene nanoring. The conductance exhibits Fano resonances with varying incident energy and applied perpendicular magnetic field. These Fano resonance peaks can be accurately fitted with the well known Fano curves.

Fano resonances in kagome fibers

open access: yesSPIE Proceedings, 2012
Confinement Loss of microstructured fibers whose cladding is composed by a triangular arrangement of tubes of various shapes is theoretically and numerically investigated. Kagome Fibers belong from this family of fibers with cladding tubes with hexagonal shape.

Plasmonic Systems Unveiled by Fano Resonances

ACS Nano, 2012
We show in detail how a derivation of Fano theory can serve as a new paradigm to study, understand, and control the interaction of nano-objects with light. Examples include a plasmonic crystal, a dolmen-type structure sustaining dark and bright plasmon modes, and a nanoshell heptamer.

Multiple Fano Resonances in Plasmonic Waveguide-Based Cavity and Detection of Pathogenic Virus

IEEE Sensors Journal, 2023
A technique is implemented for the generation of multiple Fano resonances in a plasmonic waveguide (PW)-based rectangular cavity. A rectangular cavity provides four Fano peaks, which can further be increased to nine by inserting the metallic bars in it ...
