A Classification Study of Novels Containing Fantastic Elements

Turkish novel starts its journey with an oath to loyalty to reality. Writers, especially those who graduated from Köy Enstitüsü, such as Talip Apaydın, Samim Kocagöz, Mahmut Yesari, Kemal Tahir and Orhan Kemal, added socialism and ruralism to realism in 1960s and 1970s, and Turkish novel bonded to objective realism with stronger bonds.
