Plasmonic Analog of Electromagnetically Induced Absorption Leads to Giant Thin Film Faraday Rotation of 14°

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2017
We demonstrate the realization of a new hybrid magnetoplasmonic thin film structure that resembles the classical optical analog of electromagnetically induced absorption.

Temperature and Vibration Dependence of the Faraday Effect of Gd2O3 NPs-Doped Alumino-Silicate Glass Optical Fiber

open access: yesSensors, 2018
All-optical fiber magnetic field sensor based on the Gd2O3 nano-particles (NPs)-doped alumino-silicate glass optical fiber was developed, and its temperature and vibration dependence on the Faraday Effect were investigated.

MC-BLOS: Automated Software for Determining the Line-of-sight Component of Magnetic Fields Associated with Molecular Clouds

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
While plane-of-sky magnetic field observations in molecular clouds are now common, observations of their line-of-sight magnetic field remain limited. To address this issue, M. Tahani et al. developed a technique based on Faraday rotation.

Magnetic Faraday rotation in lossy photonic structures

open access: yes, 2009
Magnetic Faraday rotation is widely used in optics and MW. In uniform magneto-optical materials, this effect is very weak. One way to enhance it is to incorporate the magnetic material into a high-Q optical resonator.

Spin Dynamics of Excitons and Carriers in Mixed‐Cation MAxFA1–xPbI3 Perovskite Crystals: Alloy Fluctuations Probed by Optical Orientation

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
The impact of alloy fluctuations on the spin dynamics of mixed‐cation MAxFA1‐xPbI3 perovskite single crystals is studied experimentally by means of polarized time‐resolved photoluminescence. The high optical orientation degree, reaching 80% for x = 0.1 and 0.8, displays a minimum of 60% for x = 0.4.

Diffusion Coefficient and Viscosity of Methyl Viologen Electrolyte Estimation Based on a Kinetic Monte Carlo Computational Approach Coupled with the Mean Square Displacement Method

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
A novel and comprehensive 3D‐resolved kinetic Monte Carlo model coupled with mean square displacement analysis is introduced. This computational approach allows to explore, for the first time, the concentration and the state of charge effects on ionic diffusion coefficient and viscosity in methyl viologen‐based electrolytes used in organic redox flow ...

Revealing the Accretion Flow in M87*: Insights from Faraday Rotation

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The Faraday rotation measure (RM) is a commonly used tool to trace electron number density and magnetic fields in hot accretion flows, particularly in low-luminosity accreting supermassive black holes.
