Genetic Diversity in the mtDNA Control Region and Population Structure in the Pink Shrimp Farfantepenaeus Duorarum [PDF]
Abstract The pink shrimp (Farfantepenaeus duorarum) is an ecologically and economically important penaeid species in the southeastern United States. The biological and economic importance of this species prompted us to conduct a molecular genetic assessment of pink shrimp genetic diversity and population genetic structure.

Density-dependent linkage between juveniles and recruitment for pink shrimp (Farfantepenaeus duorarum) in southern Florida [PDF]
Pink shrimp (Farfantepenaeus duorarum) is an important commercial species in the eastern Gulf of Mexico, with annual landings between 2300 and 4500 metric tonnes during the past decade. The adults are exploited by a trawl fishery in the Dry Tortugas region, while juveniles inhabit Florida Bay.
