TH/TRs–COL11A2 Axis Mediates Loss of a Differentiated Astrocyte State in Hypogyrified Brains

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using a gyrencephalic congenital hypothyroidism pig model, this study reveals cerebral atrophy and cortical hypogyrification. Single‐cell sequencing identifies astrocytes as major TH‐responsive cells, with the COL11A2‐enriched Astro‐2 state nearly absent.

An investigation into the cost-sharing mechanism of order agriculture with consideration for green investment

open access: yesCogent Food & Agriculture
The "processing company + farmer" model is studied for its wide - applicability, targeting high production costs and low farmer participation in green agriculture. Using game theory, we build a model to analyze cost - sharing mechanisms’ effects on green

Beyond Probiotics: Postbiotics for Healthy Aquaculture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This critical review assesses limitations of probiotics and proposes postbiotics, preparations of inanimate microorganisms and their metabolites, as a more stable, controlled, and biosafe formulation. Postbiotics offer significant advantages during industrial aquafeed production and storage. However, their practical implementation is currently hindered

Non‐Coding Transcripts From Diversified Members of IgLec Family Protect Antiviral Effectors From Viral miRNA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The IgLec gene family generates both protein‐coding antiviral effectors and non‐coding transcripts. Upon viral infection, non‐coding transcripts are preferentially targeted by viral miR‐N48, thereby buffering protein‐coding isoforms from repression. Depletion of these decoy transcripts compromises antiviral defense, revealing a non‐coding RNA‐mediated ...

Blue Light Receptor PHR2‐Mediated Spectrum Antiviral Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Blue light suppresses RBSDV through the blue‐light receptor ZmPHR2, which interacts with ZmISP in chloroplasts to trigger ROS burst and antiviral defense. The viral effector P6 enhances ZmPHR2–ZmISP interaction, alters their distribution, and suppresses ROS.

Challenges of Decentralized, Farmer-Led and Fee-For-Service Extension

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural Extension, 2011
Agricultural extension services are crucial for the rapid spread of research results to farmers and for transmitting information about farmers’ needs, circumstances, and problems to researchers. In developing countries, public extension organizations are dominant.
