We compared the healing quality of Bruner and McCash incisions for limited fasciectomy in a randomized clinical trial involving 12 women and 60 men with Dupuytren’s disease. None had had previous surgery on the affected hand, and all were treated between

Dupuytren's Contracture (DC) is a progressive fibrotic thickening of the palmar aponeurosis of the hand. Often first presenting with nodules in the palm but leading to a fixed flexion of the digits as further collagen deposition leads to rope like cords ...

Simultaneous Carpal Tunnel Release and Dupuytren’s Fasciectomy
Journal of Hand Surgery, 1991Simultaneous operations for carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren’s disease have been reported in only one study which recommended staged treatment because there was an 87% complication rate with simultaneous treatment. The present study reviewed simultaneous treatment of 30 patients during a 20-year period.

Introduction: The optimal treatment for Dupuytren’s disease remains debated. While limited open fasciectomy (LOF) is considered the gold standard, it is associated with higher complication rates, greater postoperative pain, and longer recovery periods ...
