Coprological and postmortem examinations were made on 903 and 180 animals respectively to assess the prevalence of ovine and Caprine fasciolasis in Assela and its surroundings. Out of 657 sheep and 246 goats examined coprologically, 32.9% and 15.9% respectively were found to be fasciolasis positive in sheep and goats .
