A new algorithm for fast generalized DFTs
We give an new arithmetic algorithm to compute the generalized Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) over finite groups $G$. The new algorithm uses $O(|G|^{\omega/2 + o(1)})$ operations to compute the generalized DFT over finite groups of Lie type, including ...

This plot compares experimental tensile stress–strain curves (with 4 different strain rates) and corresponding modelled curves (obtained using the optimised sets of Voce and Miller–Norton parameter values shown). The inferred M‐N values, characterizing the creep, are very similar to those obtained via conventional creep testing.

A “FAST” EXTREME FILTERING ALGORITHM
number of extrema is proposed that does not use decomposition into components with simultaneous smoothing. The possibility of estimating the parameters of time series in a sliding window and highlighting the modes in the analysis area directly by the ...

Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.
