Field of a fast, charged particle

Physical Review A, 1986
As the velocity of a charged particle increases, its electric flux lines become more and more concentrated about the transverse plane, a circumstance that is sometimes construed to imply that the electric field in front of the particle is zero. This is never exactly true, but is often a valid approximation. The range of validity is discussed.

Fast Charging Lithium-Ion Batteries

SAE Technical Paper Series, 2017
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">We try to understand the fast recharge capability of automotive lithium-ion batteries and its effect of fast charge on capacity degradation. We find out that 5 Ah prismatic Li-ion cells can be fully recharged in 3 minutes under a constant rate of 20C, or in 2 min (25.5C) from 0 ...

A fast charge sensitive amplifier

Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1978
Abstract Amplifier input circuitry response to a sequence of Gaussian pulses of charge is investigated in detail. A solution of the differential equation for the charge Q valid for all time, and approximate solutions valid in the long time limit, are presented and discussed.

How fast do charged particles get dressed?

physica status solidi (b), 2003
AbstractOn a femtosecond timescale, we observe how Coulomb screening and collective scattering build up in an extreme nonequilibrium electron–hole plasma photoinjected in GaAs. To this end, we generate a plasma within 10 fs and probe the subsequent polarization response of the system with uncertainty‐limited temporal resolution via ultrabroadband THz ...

Coordinated charging strategies for electric bus fast charging stations

2016 IEEE PES Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference (APPEEC), 2016
Plug-in electric bus (PEB) is regarded as a promising mode of public transport in the future. This paper proposes two real-time coordinated charging strategies to improve the charging costs of electric bus fast charging station (EBFCS) by responding to the Time-of-Use (TOU) electricity prices.

Different fast charging methods and topologies for EV charging

2018 IEEMA Engineer Infinite Conference (eTechNxT), 2018
In order to promote clean and green environment and to reduce carbon emission, the Government of India aspires for a nation with 100 percent electric vehicle mobility by the year 2030. For such a large number of electric vehicles to be running on Indian roads, there is a critical need for fast charging stations and infrastructure.
