Field of a fast, charged particle

Physical Review A, 1986
As the velocity of a charged particle increases, its electric flux lines become more and more concentrated about the transverse plane, a circumstance that is sometimes construed to imply that the electric field in front of the particle is zero. This is never exactly true, but is often a valid approximation. The range of validity is discussed.

Multiple Scattering of Fast Charged Particles

Physical Review, 1949
The theory of multiple scattering of charged particles has been extended in the small-angle approximation valid for thin foils and fast particles. The extension consists of an exact solution of the integral diffusion equation for the correlated probabilities of lateral and angular displacements, and the numerical integration of the resulting expression

Different fast charging methods and topologies for EV charging

2018 IEEMA Engineer Infinite Conference (eTechNxT), 2018
In order to promote clean and green environment and to reduce carbon emission, the Government of India aspires for a nation with 100 percent electric vehicle mobility by the year 2030. For such a large number of electric vehicles to be running on Indian roads, there is a critical need for fast charging stations and infrastructure.

A fast charge sensitive amplifier

Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1978
Abstract Amplifier input circuitry response to a sequence of Gaussian pulses of charge is investigated in detail. A solution of the differential equation for the charge Q valid for all time, and approximate solutions valid in the long time limit, are presented and discussed.

A Fast Charging System based on Charging Current Dynamic Adjustment Method

2018 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2018
This paper presents a fast charging system for smart devices. A novel scheme of dynamically adjusted charging current based on voltage-current dual-loop control is employed to fully utilize the power of the adaptor and maximize the charging speed. Simulation and experiment show that at least 12% more battery can be charged by the proposed method within

Design of a fast charging system for service robots

2015 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO), 2015
In this paper, a fast charging system (FCS) is designed for service robots. In this design, batteries are used to due to its energy density, whereas supercapacitors (SCs) are used to enhance the power density. DC-DC converter controls the FCS. The main advantage of the design of fast charging system is that, the SCs are charged with a large current ...
