The Method of Fast Frequency Response Testing Based on LabVIEW
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013This paper designs a virtual spectrum analyst based on LabVIEW,chirp signal is used for pumping signal of the system. A fast frequency estimation method is realized by the graph programming language LabVIEW. Compared with traditional virtual spectrum analyst, this method can better and faster measure amplitude-frequency characteristic and phase ...

IEEE Symposium on Ultrasonics, 2002
A method for the fast simulation of bulk wave second-order effects in SAW (surface acoustic wave) devices is described. It is shown that the bulk wave contribution to the total frequency response of a device can be computed from the real part of its surface wave frequency response.

Fast Fourier transform for estimating process frequency response
2013 IEEE 8th Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2013This paper discusses the online technique to estimate the process frequency response without breaking the closed-loop control. The extended method of relay feedback using fast Fourier transform (FFT) is measured input and output responses without disconnecting the controller from the loop, which significantly reduces the time required for the ...

Early auditory electric responses to fast amplitude and frequency tone glides
Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, 1981Using the standard far-field technique for auditory brain stem responses early electrical responses have been recorded, evoked by stimulation using brief frequency or amplitude glides of a continuous pure tone of 1 kHz at 60 dB HL. The glide duration was always 1 msec and its magnitude in the range of 50--100% relative frequency change or 5--20 dB ...

Using Fast Frequency Response Services to Improve Frequency Stability of Low Inertia Power Systems
2018 Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference (AUPEC), 2018The increasing penetration of non-synchronous renewable energy sources (NS-RES) has led to a decrease in power systems inertia which introduces major challenges to frequency stability. This paper investigates impacts of inertia location and network topology on frequency stability of power systems by the means of time domain simulations.

Batteries for fast frequency containment response: market impacts on outage dynamics
at - AutomatisierungstechnikAbstract Traditional sources like hydro and thermal plants have a well-defined response for inertia and frequency containment during load outages, whereas inverter-interfaced battery systems offer more flexibility as ancillary services. This paper investigates interactions between sources of Frequency Containment Reserve (FCR) after an ...
