Fast frequency response computation for Rayleigh damping

open access: yes, 2006
We present a model reduction Lanczos method for the computation of frequency response functions of Rayleigh damping problems. The connection with modal extraction and modal superposition is made. The usual model reduction methods require complex arithmetic. With the proposed method, complex arithmetic is only used for the reduced problem.

Response Characteristics and Fast Homogeneous Inversion Method for Sweep-Frequency Dielectric Logging

open access: yesCejing jishu
To address the issues of low computational efficiency and non-uniqueness in iterative homogeneous inversion of swept-frequency dielectric logging, this paper aims to develop a fast homogeneous inversion method that balances speed and accuracy.

GraFIT: A toolbox for fast and accurate frequency response identification in gravitational wave detectors

open access: yesReview of Scientific Instruments
Frequency Response Function (FRF) measurements are widely used in gravitational wave detectors, e.g., for the design of controllers, calibrating signals, and diagnosing problems with system dynamics. The aim of this paper is to present GraFIT: a toolbox that enables fast, inexpensive, and accurate identification of FRF measurements for gravitational ...

Field testing and comparative analysis of demand-side adjustable resources for fast frequency response using edge intelligent terminal

open access: yesEnergy Reports
The growing integration of renewables is reducing grid inertia, challenging frequency stability. While demand-side adjustable resources like smart buildings and electric vehicle (EV) stations could enhance grid flexibility, current research remains ...

Adaptive Dual Droop for Active Power‐Frequency Control in Power System With Photovoltaic System

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation
As the penetration of photovoltaic systems (PVs) increases, the ability to control network frequency becomes limited. Traditional PV control typically relies on maximum power point tracking (MPPT); however, in MPPT mode, PVs cannot contribute to ...
