Fast-Marching Methods for Curvature Penalized Shortest Paths [PDF]
We introduce numerical schemes for computing distances and shortest paths with respect to several planar paths models, featuring curvature penalization and data-driven velocity: the Dubins car, the Euler/Mumford elastica, and a two variants of the Reeds–Shepp car.

Fast generative adversarial networks model for masked image restoration
The conventional masked image restoration algorithms all utilise the correlation between the masked region and its neighbouring pixels, which does not work well for the larger masked image.

Fast Marching Methods and Level Set Methods: An Implementation
A wide variety of problems can be formulated as an interface propagation. Some examples are burning flames, waves in water and physical boundaries. The fast marching methods and narrow band level set method are useful for finding a solution to these problems.

opXRD: Open Experimental Powder X‐Ray Diffraction Database
We introduce the Open Experimental Powder X‐ray Diffraction Database, the largest openly accessible collection of experimental powder diffractograms, comprising over 92,000 patterns collected across diverse material classes and experimental setups. Our ongoing effort aims to guide machine learning research toward fully automated analysis of pXRD data ...
