Measuring fluence of fast neutrons with planar silicon detectors
Physics of Particles and Nuclei Letters, 2017The results of measurements of 1-MeV (Si) equivalent fast neutron fluence with silicon planar detectors are reported. The measurement method is based on the linear dependence of the reverse detector current increment on the neutron fluence: ΔI = α I × Φ × V.

Fluences and spectra of accelerator generated fast neutrons
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1992A fast neutron irradiation station has been designed at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. The fluence delivered by this station is less than that of a nuclear reactor, but it is essentially free of slow neutrons and the admixture of gamma rays is small.

Absolute measurement of thermal and fast neutron fluence with LR-115
International Journal of Radiation Applications and Instrumentation Part D, Nuclear Tracks and Radiation Measurements, 1991Abstract Thin circular layers of LiF for thermal neutrons and 235 U, 237 Np, 238 U or 239 Pu for fast neutrons are possible targets in a cylindrical geometry. A circular sensitive Solid State Nuclear Track Detector (SSNTD) as LR-115 (Kodak Pathe) or CR-39 registers α particles or fission fragments. From α or fission fragments density, mean (n, α)

Fast-neutron fluence determination with diamond sensors
Atomic Energy, 2005A new method of determining the fluence with an integrating diamond sensor is developed. The method is based on the results of many experiments on combined irradiation in VVER-1000 of diamond sensors and control samples for which activity data on the fast-neutron fluence were obtained from the 54Mn by a computational-experimental method.
