The Late Spectrum of the Very Fast Fe
Abstract V3661 Ophiuchi has the fastest rate of brightness decline of any Fe ii type nova observed to date. Here we present its spectrum (from 0.47 to 2.5 μ m) 130 days after visible maximum.

Acoustic‐driven surface cleaning with millimeter‐sized bubbles at translational resonance
Time‐lapse visualization comparing bubble trajectories. The top panel (0 Hz) shows a bubble's linear path under no acoustic forcing, while the bottom panel (50 Hz) demonstrates the oscillatory motion induced by acoustic waves at a resonance mode. This mechanism holds promising potential for applications such as surface cleaning.

This study establishes a multi‐factor coupling framework for predicting breakdown pressure in laminated shale by integrating experimental hydraulic fracturing tests, physics‐informed neural networks (PINNs), and Sobol sensitivity analysis. It reveals how differential stress, the bedding dip angle, and the injection rate interact to influence fracture ...

The extensive investigations of extragalactic systems during recent years have brought to light the remarkable fact that there exist two well-defined types of new stars or novae which might be distinguished as common novae and super-novae.

ABSTRACT Objective Maladaptive exercise includes excessive, compulsive, or compensatory exercise and is a common eating‐disorder (ED) symptom associated with increased severity, slower rates‐of‐recovery, and faster rates‐of‐relapse. Affect‐regulation theories posit that maladaptive exercise functions to reduce high negative affect (NA), although ...

ABSTRACT Objective This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of implementing 10‐session group cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT‐Tg) in routine outpatient eating disorder care and to descriptively examine outcomes of CBT‐Tg and individual CBT‐T (CBT‐Ti). Method Using a naturalistic, non‐randomised, mixed‐methods design, this implementation study was
