Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Fast pyrolysis behavior of different celluloses and lignocellulosic biopolymer interaction during fast pyrolysis

open access: yes, 2018
Cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin are the three major components of biomass, constituting about 85 wt. %. In the current study, primary fast pyrolysis of biomass has been studied by using a system with an online micropyrolyzer-GC-MS/FID and gas analyzer for product analysis while a combination of analytical technologies including HPLC, UV-VIS and ICP

Unravelling the Secret of Sulfur Confinement and High Sulfur Utilization in Hybrid Sulfur‐Carbons

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Thermal condensation of inverse vulcanized sulfur‐carbon hybrids enables a bottom‐up sulfur confinement strategy, in which a protective carbon phase is progressively constructed around sulfur species. The resulting carbon nanodomains covalently tether sulfur chains and stabilize radical intermediates. This integrated architecture effectively suppresses
