Strategies for producing biochars with minimum PAH contamination [PDF]
With the aim to develop initial recommendations for production of biochars with minimal contamination with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), we analysed a systematic set of 46 biochars produced under highly controlled pyrolysis conditions.

Understanding fast pyrolysis of biomass
The primary reactions and secondary effects resulting from cellulose fast pyrolysis were investigated. It was found that mass transfer limitations existed when the sample weight of powder cellulose was larger than 0.8 mg or when the cellulose particles were pyrolyzed at a larger characteristic length scale.

A new zinc hybrid guanidine catalyst [Zn{(R,R)TMGNMe2(1,2)ch}2](OTf)2 (C1) shows very high catalytic activity in the polymerization of cyclic esters and in the depolymerization of these polyesters. Using C1 in the ring‐opening polymerization of lactide and caprolactone under industrially relevant conditions, astonishing rate constants of the same order

This study presents an intravesical delivery strategy of ferroptosis‐ and immunity‐inducing nanozyme‐loaded thermoresponsive hydrogels (FMCC@PNH) for enhanced bladder cancer therapy. Abstract Current intravesical therapies for bladder cancer after resection are limited by poor tissue penetration, off‐target effects, and insufficient efficacy.
