Rare earth exchange of faujasites
Zeolites, 1985Abstract When sodium zeolites X and Y with a wide range of silica to alumina ratios were ion-exchanged with rare earth ions by a standardized procedure, the degree of exchange was found to depend strongly on the SiO 2 Al 2 O 3 ratio.

Summary [Ni(salen)] was prepared inside the supercages of NaY by the reaction of Ni-exchanged zeolite witli salen. The 23Na NMR spectra of dehydrated Na+ and (Ni,Na)Y (up to 33% Na+ exchanged) reveal that there is no preferential loss of Na+ from the double six-rings.

Direct synthesis of copper faujasite
Catalysis Today, 2005Abstract Copper containing faujasite has been successfully prepared for the first time using a direct synthesis method. Faujasite type zeolite can be prepared in the presence of copper species by tuning the synthesis conditions. Ammonium hydroxide was used to form a copper complex that was later mixed with the reacting gel.

Crystal structures of faujasites
2017This chapter gives an introduction for the crystal structures of faujasites. A good number of studies on extraframework cation locations in faujasites type zeolites are also given. Extraframework sites occupations in X-type and Y-type zeolites are tabulated. Displacements of cations from the oxygen ring planes are given as well.

Ion exchange in dealuminated faujasites
Zeolites, 1986Abstract Dealuminated faujasites with Si Al ratios of 3.8, 4.5 and 7.0 were prepared by e.d.t.a. extraction and SiCl4, treatment. Cs+, NH4+, Ca2+ and La3+ exchange isotherms of the Na+ form of these dealuminated faujasites were determined predominantely at 25°C, but to a lesser extent at 65°C and 80°C.

Glycine Peptide Bond Formation Catalyzed by Faujasite
ChemPhysChem, 2011AbstractThe catalysis of peptide bond formation between two glycine molecules on H‐FAU zeolite was computationally studied by the M08‐HX density functional. Two reaction pathways, the concerted and the stepwise mechanism, starting from three differently adsorbed reactants, amino‐bound, carboxyl‐bound, and hydroxyl‐bound, are studied.

Summary Adsorption sites of m-dinitrobenzene and m-nitroaniline in zeolites CaY, NaY and NaX have been determined by means of X-ray powder diffraction. The structures have been solved applying Rietveld refinement in combination with difference Fourier synthesis.
