Building sensor fault detection and diagnostic system

Proceedings of the 8th ACM International Conference on Systems for Energy-Efficient Buildings, Cities, and Transportation, 2021
In this paper, we developed a Building Sensor Fault Detection and Diagnostics System. It consists of a smartphone application integrated with airflow and temperature sensors, to enable Facilities' crews to collect flow, supply, and zone temperatures from each zone with a simple walk-through.

Intelligent fault detection and diagnostics in solar plants

Proceedings of the 6th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems, 2011
This paper discusses fault detection and diagnostics in a solar power plant. After reviewing relevant work, description of a data acquisition system for solar plant monitoring is presented and the list of potential faults to be taken care of is given.

ON-LINE FAULT-DETECTION AND DIAGNOSTICS ON PAPER MACHINES

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1991
Abstract We outline the needs for diagnostics in the paper industry and describe the state of the art. We have developed two next-generation diagnostic systems: WEDGE for the diagnostics of temporal variations, and FLEXPRO for spatial (cross-direction) variations.

Fault Detection, Diagnostics, and Prognostics: Software Agent Solutions

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2007
Fault diagnosis and prognosis are important tools for the reliability, availability, and survivability of navy all-electric ships (AES). Extending the fault detection and diagnosis into predictive maintenance increases the value of this technology. The traditional diagnosis can be viewed as a single diagnostic agent having a model of the component or ...

Diagnostic bond graphs for online fault detection and isolation

Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory, 2006
Abstract Analytical redundancy relations (ARR) are symbolic equations representing constraints between different known process variables (parameters, measurements and sources). ARR are obtained from the behavioural model of the system through different procedures of elimination of unknown variables.
