Several propositions are given that can be used directly for a fault detection and isolation scheme, and that can serve as a tool to analyze fault detection and isolation properties of the system. No.01CH37237), 2002In this paper, we describe development and analysis of an active fault detection and isolation system for the commuter and business aircraft. To accommodate faults wherever possible, we develop an algorithm that can reliably detect and isolate system faults with minimal disruption of normal aircraft operations.

Energetic approach to parametric fault detection and isolation
Proceedings of the 2004 American Control Conference, 2004This paper concerned with the diagnosis and identification of parametric fault which may occur in a physical system. The method uses a bond graph system model to generate residual signals for fault diagnosis. Fault identification of system parameters is obtained by the analysis of the bond graph model topology.
