Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

FAULT DIAGNOSIS OF PLANETARY GEAR TRANSMISSION SYSTEM BASED ON VIBRATION RELEVANT INFORMATION FUSION

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2015
Considering the facts that different measurement point information provide different sensitivity degree and vibration transmission make fault relate to each measuring point, the fault diagnosis model of vibration relevant information fusion were put ...

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

A refined nonlinear theoretical model for mechanical analysis of tunnels subjected to strike-slip faulting with multiple fault planes

open access: yesJournal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering
During strike-slip fault dislocation, multiple fault planes are commonly observed. The resulting permanent ground deformation can lead to profound structural damage to tunnels.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
