Constraints on fault and lithosphere rheology from the coseismic slip and postseismic afterslip of the 2006 M_w 7.0 Mozambique earthquake [PDF]
The 2006 M_w 7.0 Mozambique (Machaze) normal-faulting earthquake ruptured an unusually steeply dipping fault plane (~75°). The amount of slip in the earthquake decreased from depths of ~10 km toward the surface, and this shallow slip deficit was at least

Rapid mapping of ultrafine fault zone topography with structure from motion
Structure from Motion (SfM) generates high-resolution topography and coregistered texture (color) from an unstructured set of overlapping photographs taken from varying viewpoints, overcoming many of the cost, time, and logistical limitations of Light ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Analysis of Location of Villages in Relation to Rupture Zone (Case Study: North Qazvin Fault) [PDF]
This paper studies the shear zone of North Qazvin fault and investigates the location of rural settlements in this area. In selected sections, the presence of transverse valleys along the fault made it possible to investigate the evidence of shear zones ...

Study on characteristics of regional fault zone and surface temperature change in Xing’an League
Based on Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS remote sensing images and the latest fault zone vector data, this paper analyzes and studies the characteristics of the regional fault zone and land surface temperature changes in the Xing’an League region. For the accuracy of

Fault zone architecture of a large plate-bounding strike-slip fault: a case study from the Alpine Fault, New Zealand [PDF]
New Zealand's Alpine Fault is a large, plate-bounding strike-slip fault, which ruptures in large (Mw>8) earthquakes. We conducted field and laboratory analyses of fault rocks to assess its fault zone architecture.

The Spectrum of Fault Slip in Elastoplastic Fault Zones
Natural faults are typically surrounded by damage zones that exhibit inelastic material response. This study investigates the role of fault zone strength in modulating the spectrum of fault slip across different spatio-temporal scales. We carry out long-term simulations of seismic and aseismic slip for an elastoplastic spring slider model with rate-and-

Modeling afterslip and aftershocks following the 1992 Landers earthquake [PDF]
One way to probe the rheology of the lithosphere and fault zones is to analyze the temporal evolution of deformation following a large earthquake. In such a case, the lithosphere responds to a known stress change that can be assessed from earthquake slip

To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.
