Medvednica fault zone (Croatia)

1995
The Medvednica fault zone is prominent in the western margin of the Pannonian basin. The zone represents the border between different structural systems and is distinguished by the seismotectonic activity. The earthquace foci lie up to 20 km deep. Their space concentration indicates the relatioship with the reverse and normal faults.
