W Popradzkim Parku Krajobrazowym występują dogodne siedliska dla Ixodes ricinus L. Łącznie na 13 stanowiskach, zlokalizowanych w obrębie dwóch szlaków edukacyjno-turystycznych i jednej ścieżki turystycznej, znaleziono 213 osobników tego gatunku.
