Mechanical properties of fcc/fcc Cu/Nb nanostructured multilayers

Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2012
Abstract The phase transition of Nb from body-centered cubic (bcc) to face-centered cubic (fcc) has been found in Cu/Nb nanostructured multilayers with modulation period (λ) spanning from 5 to 300 nm, and was analyzed by using a thermodynamic model. As λ decreases, the strength of multilayers increase and approach saturation of ∼2.88 GPa at a few nm ...

fcc Fe films grown on a ferromagnetic fcc Co(100) substrate

Physical Review B, 1996
Fe films grown at room temperature on a ferromagnetic fcc Co(100) substrate are shown to exhibit three distinct phases at different thickness ranges as in the Fe/Cu(100) system. The Fe overlayer in these three regions was also found to exhibit different magnetic phases.

Monitoring FCC catalyst properties in the FCC Unit

Nafta : exploration, production, processing, petrochemistry, 2005
Labatory test of equilibrium FCC catalyst s from FCC process are a part of regular control of FCCU operation for both the producers and users. Laboratory test data of phisical and catalytic propertoesequilibrium catalysts provide an insight into the operation of FCCU and enable optimum process control. The paper presents the results of laboratory tests

FCC Integrated Programme Stage 1: The FCC-ee

The Future Circular Collider (FCC) ‘integrated programme’ consists of an initial electron-positron collider FCC-ee, which is followed by a proton-proton collider, FCC-hh. This integrated programme is well matched to the current scientific landscape after 15 years of LHC operation.

FCC Integrated Programme Stage 2: The FCC-hh

The Future Circular Collider (FCC) ‘integrated programme’ consists of an initial electron-positron collider FCC-ee, which is later followed by a proton-proton collider, FCC-hh. This comprehensive programme is well matched to the current scientific landscape after 15 years of LHC operation.
