Chronic conditions associated with paediatric onset inflammatory bowel diseases: A population‐based study

open access: yesJournal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Several conditions are associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including immune‐mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), extraintestinal manifestations (EIMs), and psychiatric disorders. This study aimed to describe at population‐level the comorbidities and their relative burden in paediatric‐onset IBD (pIBD).

SOX2 Inhibits Cuproptosis to Affect Cisplatin Resistance in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer by Activating the Wnt/ATP7B Signaling Pathway

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cisplatin (CDDP) resistance constitutes the principal clinical challenge in the treatment of advanced non‐small cell lung cancers (NSCLC). Disturbances in copper metabolism are closely linked with tumor drug resistance. SOX2, a pivotal stemness transcription factor (TF), holds an important role in chemotherapy resistance.

Hydrogen‐Enhanced Stress Corrosion Cracking of Wire Arc Additive Manufactured Inconel 625 Superalloy in NaCl Solution: Mechanism of Synergistic Degradation

open access: yesMaterials and Corrosion, EarlyView.
Hydrogen‐enhanced SCC of WAAM Inconel 625 in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. Hydrogen charging reduces passive film stability (lower corrosion potential) and promotes pitting at Laves phase/matrix interfaces. Stress corrosion cracks propagate along Laves‐rich regions, leading to quasi‐cleavage brittle fracture.

FCM dipole magnet

open access: yes
In an effort to develop economical magnets for an upgrade of the LHC injector complex, CERN started in 2009 an R&D program on superconducting fast cycled magnets (FCM). The program has achieved its objective with the tests of the FCM dipole demonstrator,

AI‐Driven Rational Design of Nanotherapeutics for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains a formidable malignancy characterized by late diagnosis, high recurrence rates, and pronounced chemoresistance. While nanoparticle‐based drug delivery systems (NDDS) offer theoretical advantages over conventional therapies, their clinical translation in PDAC has been severely limited.

Evolving Sacrocolpopexy Technique Trends

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Sacrocolpopexy (SCP) is widely considered the gold standard procedure for repairing apical and multi‐compartment prolapse. Despite its long‐standing and widespread use, significant technical variations persist, yet these differences have not been well‐characterized or linked to surgical outcomes.

Causal Relationship Between ESG Assessment Criteria and SDGs for PPP Projects: A Fuzzy Cognitive Approach

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessment criteria have received substantial recognition for investment decision and practical steps to achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs). Given the global reliance on public‐private partnership (PPP) to bridge infrastructure deficit, investment into these projects is on the rise; it

Endocytosis‐independent cytosolic entry of messenger RNA via fluorous bilayer zippering attenuating Toll‐like receptor signaling and enables ischemic tissue salvage

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
The present study establishes a paradigm shift in synthetic mRNA delivery through the convergence of three orthogonal chemistries—perfluoro‐acylation, bio‐orthogonal click cross‐linking, and disulfide reduction—within a single, modular polymer architecture. Abstract A fundamental constraint of conventional messenger RNA (mRNA) delivery systems is their
