FDA-MIMO Signal Processing for Mainlobe Jammer Suppression
2019 27th European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), 2019Inspired by the fact that frequency diverse array (FDA) generates a time-variant transmit beampattern depending on both range and angle parameters, we propose joint utilization of the FDA and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar for counteracting mainlobe jamming signals.

Range Ambiguous Clutter Rank Analysis in FDA-MIMO Radar
2021 IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium (IWS), 2021In recent years, frequency diverse array (FDA) with multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technique, which is referred to as FDA-MIMO radar, has attracted extensive attentions due to its outstanding advantages of introducing additional controllable degrees-of-freedom (DOFs) in range dimension.

FDA-MIMO radar covariance matrix estimation via shrinkage processing
Digital Signal Processing, 2021Abstract Frequency diverse array multiple-input multiple-output (FDA-MIMO) produces an angle-range-dependent and time-varying transmit beampattern due to the small frequency increment across its array elements, which provides potential applications in new radar techniques.

Design of GLR-Based Detectors for FDA-MIMO radar
2020 IEEE 7th International Workshop on Metrology for AeroSpace (MetroAeroSpace), 2020This paper deals with the problem of adaptive detectors design for a frequency diverse array multiple-input multiple-output (FDA-MIMO) radar. At the design stage, adaptive detectors are devised according to the generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) criterion, where the target range is assumed unknown within the radar cell.

A Novel Towed Jamming Suppression with FDA-MIMO Radar
2021 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf21), 2021Frequency diverse array (FDA)-multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) radar can form angle-distance 2D beam pattern, which has good anti-jamming ability. This paper proposes a towed jamming suppression method based on FDA-MIMO radar. The minimum variance spectral estimation (MVSE) algorithm is used to accurately locate the target and the jamming ...

Range-angle dependent detection for FDA-MIMO radar
2016 CIE International Conference on Radar (RADAR), 2016In this work, we address the problem of detecting the presence of target signal while rejecting potential deceptive jamming under the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar with frequency diverse array (FDA) as the transmit array. The problem at hand is solved resorting to the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT); at the design stage we ...

Slow-Time FDA-MIMO Radar Space-Time Adaptive Processing
2020 IEEE 92nd Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC2020-Fall), 2020The multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar with a frequency diverse array (FDA) acting as the transmit (Tx) array, referred to as FDA-MIMO radar, is capable of providing additional degrees-of-freedom (DOFs) in range domain, and thereby offers the potential benefits in range-dependent interference mitigation and range ambiguity resolving.

Adaptive Detection With Bayesian Framework for FDA-MIMO Radar
IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2022In this letter, we present an adaptive Bayesian detection framework for frequency diverse array multiple-input multiple-output (FDA-MIMO) radar. The targets are detected in Gaussian clutter with unknown but stochastic covariance matrix. We designed two detectors in the Bayesian framework, namely, Bayesian Rao detector and Bayesian Wald detector without

DOA estimation and tracking for FDA-MIMO radar signal
Digital Signal Processing, 2020Abstract Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation is a fundamental problem in many applications of array signal processing. In practice, it is more important to track the DOAs of moving target signals. In this paper, we study the problem of tracking the DOAs of multiple signals in the frequency diversity array (FDA)-MIMO radar system.
