This study identifies the key drivers of anuran amphibian diversity (taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic) across South America's Cerrado, Amazonia, and Atlantic Rainforest. Although taxonomic and phylogenetic diversity consistently increased with long‐term climatic stability in all regions, functional diversity was primarily influenced by current ...

Isometric uniqueness of a complementably universal Banach space for Schauder decompositions [PDF]
We present an isometric version of the complementably universal Banach space $\mathbb{P}$ with a Schauder decomposition. The space $\mathbb{P}$ is isomorphic to Pe{\l}czy\'nski's space with a universal basis as well as to Kadec' complementably universal ...

Evapotranspiration Profiles and Trends in Seasonally Dry and Seasonally Humid Tropical Forests
Moisture availability and vegetation are decisive factors in ET variations, which are greater in the Atlantic Forest. Precipitation contributes positively to ET variations (r = 0.20–0.67). Significant trends (p < 0.05) in ET were identified, with opposing patterns.

Modeling Nucleon Generalized Parton Distributions
We discuss building models for nucleon generalized parton distributions (GPDs) H and E that are based on the formalism of double distributions (DDs). We found that the usual "DD+D-term" construction should be amended by an extra term, \xi E^1_+(x,\xi ...

Effects of Surface Characteristics on the Existence of Isolated Permafrost in Northeastern Mongolia
ABSTRACT Isolated patches of permafrost, where ground thermal changes are affected by ecosystem factors such as vegetation cover rather than climate, may be vulnerable to environmental disturbances in semiarid regions. However, the impacts of ecosystem factors remain underevaluated in Mongolia.

Uplink Downlink Rate Balancing and throughput scaling in FDD Massive MIMO Systems
In this work we extend the concept of uplink-downlink rate balancing to frequency division duplex (FDD) massive MIMO systems. We consider a base station with large number antennas serving many single antenna users.
