TDEM by FDEM

PIERS Online, 2007
Time-domain electromagnetic measurements of induction currents are useful for geophysical prospecting in shallow sea water and on land. We review the complexity of several numerical modelling schemes. A multigrid solver makes frequency-domain modelling followed by a Fourier transform an appealing choice. Examples are included.

Numerical Simulation of the Underground Storage Cavern Using FDEM

57th U.S. Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium, 2023
ABSTRACT Underground storage cavern has been increasingly exploited as it has many advantages such as reducing investment, economizing land use and improving safety compared with storage above the ground surface.

FDEMS Sensing for Automated Intelligent Processing of Polyimides

Materials: Volume 2 — Intelligent Manufacturing and Material Processing; Clever Optimal Design and Control of Materials and Structures; Finite Deformation Viscoplasticity, 1995
Abstract Frequency dependent dielectric measurements, often called frequency dependent electromagnetic sensing (FDEMS), made over many decades of frequency, Hz-MHz, provide a sensitive, convenient automated means for monitoring the processing properties of thermosets and thermoplastics.
