3D eddy current FE analysis of electromechanical devices

Presents the use of a 3D eddy current FE procedure for the analysis and design of two different induction machine structures: a radial and an axial machine. In the first case, attention is devoted to the simulation of locked rotor conditions and a linear 3D time harmonic eddy current FE analysis has been employed.

3D FE analysis of TWT multistage depressed collectors

A full 3D finite-element (FE) electron-trajectory analysis of a multistage depressed collector concerning an existing magnetically focused TWT is presented. The aim of this analysis is to show the effectiveness of a 3D FE approach by comparing the obtained results with analogous ones, available from the KOBRA code.

Structure Analysis of Sm2(Fe,Mn)17Nx Magnet

Abstract In order to understand the coercivity mechanism of Sm 2 (Fe, Mn) 17 N x magnet, the structure of amorphous phase found in the crystal phase was clarified using a TEM-tomography. It was found that amorphous phases precipitated as a fine wire in the crystal phase that differs with the phase separation in Sm-Co magnets.
