Notch-Stress Analysis by FE Submodeling
Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology, 1997This paper presents experiences in detailed finite element analyses of pressure vessel components with respect to load-carrying capacity and fatigue strength. The application of the submodeling technique for shell-to-solid models is discussed.

FE Analysis for Different Supports
2009In Chapter 4 we became acquainted with various edge conditions in thin plate theory; in Chapter 5 we applied this knowledge to square plates with three different support conditions. Here we meet the three cases again, now they appear in a FE analysis. In Chapter 5 we considered a two-way sine load and a homogeneous distributed load.

Fe thermal analysis of a ceramic clutch
Tribology International, 2009This study involves the finite element (FE) thermal modeling of a dry running ceramic clutch disk to be applied in passenger cars and a comparison with experimental measurement results. The problem can be handled by two independent FE models linked by heat partition changing in time and space.

Analysis of nitrogen solubility in austenitic Fe-Cr and Fe-Ni alloys
Scripta Metallurgica et Materialia, 1990An evaluation of nitrogen solubility data from previous studies in the binary Fe-Cr and Fe-Ni systems was performed. When these data were treated and cast into log f N vs % X (X=Cr, Ni) plots, they revealed that the isothermal nitrogen contents of several Fe-Cr alloys at 101 kPa nitrogen pressure increase with rising chromium level, but, at a given ...

Effects of metal ions (Cu²⁺, Fe²⁺ and Fe³⁺) on HPLC analysis of catechins.
Food chemistry, 2015Catechins [(-)-epicatechin (EC), (-)-epigallocatechin (EGC), (-)-epicatechin gallate (ECG) and (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)] were analysed by HPLC using an ODS column, an electrochemical detector (0.75V vs. Ag/AgCl) and an eluting solvent composed of water containing buffer (84% v/v), acetonitrile (12% v/v) and ethylacetate (4% v/v) in the ...
