From Feasible Proofs to Feasible Computations

2010
We shall discuss several situations in which it is possible to extract from a proof, be it a proof in a first-order theory or a propositional proof, some feasible computational information about the theorem being proved. This includes extracting feasible algorithms, deterministic or interactive, for witnessing an existential quantifier, a uniform ...

Telemicrobiology: Feasibility Study

Telemedicine Journal, 1998
Rural hospitals generally lack staffing with infectious disease specialists or pathologists. Without on-site pathologists, the range of microbiology services offered by clinical laboratories may be limited as well.To study the feasibility of using static-image telepathology to evaluate Gram stains of microbiologic preparations. In this retrospective ...

Robot-assisted choledochotomy: feasibility

Surgical Endoscopy, 2004
Because clearing stones from the common bile duct is demanding with conventional laparoscopic techniques, the "da Vinci" robotic system can be of additional value in inserting a kehr drain and suturing the common bile duct. As far as we could ascertain, we report the first case of a laparoscopic choledochotomy with the assistance of this robotic system.

Feasibility

1998
AbstractSeeks to clarify the concept of feasibility and distinguish it from concepts of viability and efficiency. It focuses on the question of whether there is a feasible strategy that would enable the labour movement to move step by step towards economic democracy, beginning with circumstances as they exist at present.

Feasible Iteration of Feasible Learning Functionals

2007
For learning functions in the limit, an algorithmic learner obtains successively more data about a function and calculates trials each resulting in the output of a corresponding program, where, hopefully, these programs eventually converge to a correct program for the function.
