This paper investigates the performances of multiple-input multiple-output channel and noise covariance estimation in the presence of correlated noise. The Cramer-Rao lower bounds (CRLBs) for the estimated parameters are evaluated. The optimal training sequence is designed in order to minimize the CRLB of the channel matrix estimation.

Iterated Feasible Generalized Least-Squares Estimation of Augmented Dynamic Panel Data Models
Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, 2010This article provides the large sample distribution of the iterated feasible generalized least-squares (IFGLS) estimator of an augmented dynamic panel data model. The regressors in the model include lagged values of the dependent variable and may include other explanatory variables that, while exogenous with respect to the time-varying error component,

Summary: In various guises, feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) estimation has occupied an important place in regression analysis for more than 35 years. Past studies on the characteristics of the FGLS estimators are largely based on large sample evaluations, and the important issue of admissibility remains unexplored in the case of the FGLS ...

A nation’s progress is largely influenced by its state of health. This is so because a healthy people are not only able to work and support themselves, but are able to make a significant contribution to the socio-economic expansion and improvement to the community in which they reside.

A Feasible Generalized Least Squares Approach to Estimating Total Causal Effects in a Regression
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2019It is often thought that the error term in a regression represents the net effect of omitted variables. This poses a problem whenever the purpose of a model is to explain an economic phenomenon, because the estimated coefficients as well as the error will be wrong in the sense that they are not unique.

Feasible Generalized Least Squares Estimation
1984There are instances in econometric modeling when an investigator is willing to specify the structure of the error variance-covariance matrix, Ω, of a generalized least squares model up to a few unknown parameters, say θl θ2,..., θp. This would occur, for example, when correlation in the errors of a time series regression model is suspected or when ...

This research aims to show the direct and indirect effects of size on the performance of the municipalities of Santa Catarina, due to the academic discussion about the size of the municipality affecting its performance. All municipalities in the state of Santa Catarina, from 2005 to 2016, were analyzed, including three electoral periods.

Feasible Generalized Least Squares Using Machine Learning
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2017In the presence of heteroskedastic errors, regression using Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) offers potential efficiency gains over Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). However, FGLS adoption remains limited, in part because the form of heteroskedasticity may be misspecified.
