Exploring the High Dimensional Geometry of HSI Features [PDF]
We explore feature space geometries induced by the 3-D Fourier scattering transform and deep neural network with extended attribute profiles on four standard hyperspectral images. We examine the distances and angles of class means, the variability of classes, and their low-dimensional structures.

Assignments in the electronic spectrum of water [PDF]
To explain the inelastic feature at 4.5 eV in the spectrum of water and to study its spectrum in some detail, we have carried out several calculations on the excited states of water using the equations‐of‐motion method.

Contrastive hierarchies, privative features, and Portuguese vowels [PDF]
Dresher’s (2009) Contrastive hierarchy theory (CHT) is intended to provide a unified account of both sides of phonological primes: contrastivity and behaviour. This article explores the point and the possibility of extending CHT, which is based on binary

Deep Mid-Infrared Silicate Absorption as a Diagnostic of Obscuring Geometry Toward Galactic Nuclei [PDF]
The silicate cross section peak near 10um produces emission and absorption features in the spectra of dusty galactic nuclei observed with the Spitzer Space Telescope.

This article discusses one of the possible roles that gender could have in the Agree operation (Chomsky 2000, 2001). Based on the analysis of the PCC in Spanish developed in Camacho Ramírez (2024), in which, in the context of a ditransitive verb, gender

FEATURE MATCHING OF HISTORICAL IMAGES BASED ON GEOMETRY OF QUADRILATERALS [PDF]
This contribution shows an approach to match historical images from the photo library of the Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB) in the context of a historical three-dimensional city model of Dresden.

Correlation analysis of lift fan lip feature geometry and aerodynamic performance
In hover, the lip of a lift fan plays a crucial role, contributing to nearly half of the lift for the VTOL aircraft power plant. Thus, investigating the geometric parameters that influence lip performance is of significant importance. In this study, four
