Aiming at safe obesity drugs, Salvia miltiorrhiza was explored, and lithospermic acid was identified as a dual inhibitor of pancreatic lipase and human carbonic anhydrase VA. In silico and experimental analyses revealed stable binding interactions and good inhibitory effects.
